The Washington Policy Seminar (WPS) is the capstone event of the Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP) year. WPS provides an unparalleled opportunity to hear the latest information on national education and related policy issues straight from experts, legislative staff, researchers, and association leaders. It is also a tremendous opportunity to network with the EPFP community. The conference is a required event for all current EPFP Fellows. All EPFP alumni and coordinators are invited to participated to reengage with the community and continue to enhance their understanding of national policy issues and the federal policy process.
The four-day conference begins with an opening plenary session, followed by two and a half days of focused breakout sessions, exhibits, plenary speakers, and panels. View the 2014 WPS agenda.
The 2015 WPS will be held April 19-22, 2015 at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel. Check back for updates on the conference theme, agenda and registration details.
The WPS provides an outstanding opportunity for organizations to access the current EPFP cohort of over 250 participants from fourteen states (CO, CT, GA, LA, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, NY, NC, OH, PA, and SC) and the District of Columbia, as well as our alumni participants. EPFP is a rapidly growing, diverse group of leaders representing the fields of education, youth development, health and human services, higher education, family support, neighborhood and community development, government, philanthropy and others who work at the local, state and national levels.
