As I am meeting with [my] team members I am receiving feedback about how much meeting with [the Coalition for Community Schools team] clarified the path forward for us, solidified the meaning of this work, and the connections to the wider world.
For me, the conversations, you sharing more about your work, who you are, and what brought you to this effort, were also so important. I really appreciate you! And ALSO, your willingness to just dig into the chaos and help us untangle it was a marvel to behold!
[It] also helped to crystallize some points that have been a bit “muddy” for me. I can’t express how beneficial this is for me and how I move forward with my own bucket of tasks.
Also, the exercise of Results-based analysis is now being talked about throughout the organization as more teams interact and talk about the work we did. RBA has now been identified as the official way we will assess and evaluate our training. Comprehension of exercising facilitation like this comes in waves, I suspect. As we scrutinize our words, we become more clear. When we are clear, we are communicating.
Recently during our team meeting, the concept behind, “why are we here and what do we mean?” was a discussion that started and I got misty! I looked up and saw the Post-it that I wrote after a conversation with [the team] – the 6 P’s (Passion, Purpose, People, Power, Provisions, Practice). The team got so much from your presence at the meeting that these concepts are bubbling up without saying them. You all were really able to communicate the work so well, that the team is so inspired!
Your trip was so welcome and appreciated. The teams got to see what I mean by Transformational and I couldn’t have done it without you all here!
Thank you!
