IEL says “See you later – not goodbye” to Tauheedah Jackson, Director of Place-Based Strategy and Community School Initiatives, as she transitions to New Role

The IEL team congratulates Tauheedah Jackson, our Director of Place-Based Strategy and Community School Initiatives, as she begins her transition to a new role at Harvard’s EdRedesign Lab as the Inaugural Director of its Institute for Success Planning. We are forever grateful for all Tauheedah has done for our organization during her time at IEL, and know that our shared vision and mission of partnering with communities to build ecosystems of collaboration and equitable conditions for learning for all children will continue to advance under her leadership there.

Tauheedah has led network engagement for IEL’s Coalition for Community Schools since 2019 and has helped deepen our relationships with local leaders in over 400 communities across the country. We look forward to continued partnership with her as she works in her new role with communities to develop and scale hyper-local systems of support for kids through cross-sector collaboration.

“In my 90 days as IEL President, Tauheedah has made a lasting impact on me, and we are in gratitude of her many talents,” shares IEL President Eddie Koen. “I know I speak for the team in saying we are sad she is departing IEL, but looking forward to working with her in new ways as we focus on equitable educational leadership together!”
