IEL Accepting Community Schools Forum Workshop Proposals

IEL’s Coalition for Community Schools is accepting workshop proposals for its upcoming National Community Schools Forum 2016 in Albuquerque, N.M in April.

IEL’s Coalition for Community Schools (CCS) is accepting workshop proposals for its upcoming National Community Schools Forum 2016 in Albuquerque, N.M in April. This year’s theme is “Rising Together: Learning across School, Family and Community.”

CCS is looking for workshops that reflect the core theme and goals of this year’s national forum. The goals are to 1) highlight the focus of learning in community schools; 2) provide participants with the knowledge and skills to organize, operate, and scale up high quality community schools; 3) connect participants with a network of supportive peers; and 4) strengthen emerging state networks.

The deadline for submissions is October 9, 2015.

CCS is partnering with the Albuquerque/Bernalillo Community Schools Partnership to organize and convene the Forum.
