About
The Institute for Educational Leadership’s Community Schools Research Practice Network Seminar will bring together interdisciplinary scholars to share knowledge about the benefits of community schools, identify common areas for collaboration, and take action steps to address equity in our communities. The seminar will consist of four interactive components:
- Framing panel discussion on building research-practice partnerships for equity;
- Knowledge-sharing world café;
- Small group ideation; and
- Gallery walk and action steps.
By the conclusion of the seminar, participants will have gained fresh perspective on community schools, brainstormed new ideas and strategies on community schools research and practice, and expanded their network of colleagues.
