Lacesha Owens is a Florida High School High Tech (HSHT) program graduate. HSHT provides high school students with disabilities opportunities to explore jobs and postsecondary education leading to technology-related careers.

I turned 22 on July 12. I’ve been employed at Goodwill for a year and seven months. I have 15 classes left to take for an Associate of Science Degree (AS) in Business Management at Florida SouthWestern (FSW) State College. My career goal is to work in fashion merchandising. High School/High Tech (HS/HT) helped me to better understand retail. They helped me set up a job shadow and assisted me in finding a paid internship in retail. It also helped me gain self-confidence.
