Leticia (Lety) joined IEL in 2026 as a Finance Coordinator, supporting financial operations that help ensure the organization’s programs and initiatives run smoothly. In this role, she assists with financial tracking, invoice review, reconciliation, and coordination across teams to maintain accurate financial records and support responsible stewardship of organizational resources.
Prior to joining IEL, Lety worked across the nonprofit sector in program and project management roles supporting federally funded and mission-driven initiatives. Her experience includes managing operational processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, reviewing budgets and invoices, and supporting program implementation to ensure projects remain aligned with organizational and funder requirements. In a previous role supporting international development initiatives, she traveled to Afghanistan to meet with program staff and partners, including representatives from the World Bank, to support pilot program activities and strengthen coordination across stakeholders.
Lety is the daughter of immigrant parents and grew up in Los Angeles, experiences that shaped her commitment to expanding access to educational and community resources for historically underserved communities.
