Headshot: Gabriela ManriquezGaby Manriquez joined IEL in July 2019. As a program associate, she supports the Right Turn Career-Focused Youth Transition Initiative and the Ready to Achieve Mentoring Program.

Prior to joining IEL, Gaby volunteered at the YWCA in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At the YWCA, Gaby served as a court advocate providing support services to victims of domestic violence during their victim’s protective order hearings. Her time at the YWCA solidified her passion for nonprofit work. She is committed to connecting marginalized communities with resources to help them succeed. Gaby also has a strong passion for social justice and for supporting the various identities people carry.

Gaby is a first-generation Mexican American. In her free time she enjoys shopping, watching cute dog videos online, and snacking on popcorn.

Gaby graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2019 with a B.A. in International Studies. Additionally, she is fluent in both English and Spanish.
