EPFP invites you to take part in a remarkable international travel experience.
EPFP™ is pleased to announce its 2007 China Study Tour, from October 18-28
This unique journey is designed for individuals who have a strong interest in the nexus of globalization, education policy, and economics. The 2007 China Study Tour will offer extraordinary access to education institutions, cultural and historic sites, government and business leaders, and economic venues.
This entire voyage is extremely well organized and draws upon the extensive contacts of Michigan State University (MSU) and EPFP™ in China.
University Distinguished Professor Yong Zhao of MSU, Director of the US-China Center for Research on Educational Excellence, and Director of the Confucius Institute at MSU will lead an online pre-trip orientation and conduct a briefing session for participants during the Study Tour itself. (Recommended readings and cultural literacy will be crucial features of the pre-trip preparations.) Both an interpreter and guide (native Chinese) will accompany the group during the entire tour. Lodging will be at luxury hotels.
Lodging, two in-country flights (from Beijing to Xi'an and from Xi'an to Shanghai), air conditioned motor coach travel throughout the trip, entrance fees to cultural sites, and all but three meals are included in the $2,995 cost (double occupancy) for the trip. Airfare from the U.S. to China and back is additional and will be booked through a central travel agent to obtain reasonable prices and ensure departure and arrival times consistent with the itinerary.
