On October 24, IEL will convene Learning Lab in Washington, D.C. on Family & Community Engagement at 9:00 a.m. EST. The U.S. Department of Education will live stream the event online.
From September 16 – 18, 2016, youth from several IEL-created programs will share positive social media messages and host community events to provide safe spaces, address recent violence, and share creative solutions to strengthen communities.
On July 28, the second class of D.C. Youth Workforce Leaders Academy (YWLA) graduated from the 10-month professional development program co-led by IEL and the DC Alliance of Youth Advocates.
