On September 15, IEL’s Coalition for Community Schools and The George Washington University’s Education Facilities Clearinghouse (EFC) will convene a free webinar entitled “Community School Facilities: Authentic Engagement, Shared Space, and Neighborhood Hub.” The webinar will cover how school construction and renovation can provide unique opportunities for authentic community engagement and advancement of community schools. The session will feature administrators sharing cutting-edge strategies from community schools efforts in Cincinnati, Ohio and Baltimore, Maryland, as well as insights from EFC researchers.
