Isabella is working with IEL as a Strategic Data Project Fellow through the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University. Her work focuses on improving data infrastructure and using data to inform decisions to support IEL’s goal of improving societal equity.
Prior to joining IEL, Isabella held a position with New Visions for Public Schools, where she worked with a network of New York City public high schools to develop data-driven organizational processes to improve graduation rates. Previously, she worked as an assistant director at a Bronx middle school, where she supported implementation of a community schools model.
Isabella holds a B.S. from Fordham University and an M.P.A. from CUNY’s City College. She is currently a fourth-year doctoral student in the Developmental Psychology program at The Graduate Center, CUNY. Her dissertation will examine whether and how a social-emotional learning professional development model of teacher-driven implementation can improve effectiveness of school-wide interventions.
